DJcityTV - Jessica Gomes "Maybach Music" EXCLUSIVE

"Maybach Music" has become one of the most popular phrases in the hip-hop world. When people hear it, they think of Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Wale and people associated with MMG. Most of us know who those figures are; but who is the girl saying "Maybach Music" in each song? International Model, Jessica Gomes, gives us an exclusive interview on how her sexy voice was chosen as the drop for the label, when and how A-Trak told her that her voice is everywhere and she also clears up any rumors/controversy between her and Maybach Music.

1. Cash Out - Cashin' Out
This is the song right now in the East Coast. It rings off at 2AM in the club!

2. Future - Same Damn Time
Warning! Heat Rocka in da club! I think I can speak for everyone, this record has the NYC clubs & Hot 97 on smash at the same damn time!

3. Azealia Banks - 212
This uptempo tune has a tuff beat! Azealia Banks puts some swag in to this song! I play it on Hot 97 on the regular.
1. Alex Metric - Rave Weapon
With a title like "Rave Weapon" I didn't expect that funkiness - the Alexander O'Neal vocal flip and drums combination make for a perfect midnight banger.

2. A$AP Rocky - Goldie
The chopped/screwed hook vocals didn't sit too well with me at first, then the verse and bass dropped and I got that look on my face. You know the look...

3. Grouplove - Tongue Tied - Gigamesh Remix
I love the original for the ipod but it's just not ideal for the clubs. Gigamesh reworks the track and makes it a perfect sing-along for building up or closing down the night.

1. JON MCXRO - Girlfriend
Such an ill sexy vibe on this record. When you need a getaway from all the club noise, this a feel-good record you can drive around town to.

2. Big Sean & Meek Mill - Burn
The new street anthem. Both artists take this record to that next level!

3. Justin Bieber - Boyfriend - Vice Remix
Vice does it again. Big room rendition of one of my guilty pleasure summer favorites. Use this track with caution!
1. Usher - Scream
Usher's follow-up to "Climax" is a gimmie. It's got a good beat and great energy - a staple in this summer's party crate.

2. Theophilus London & A$AP Rocky - Big Spender
I've been feeling this track since it first came out. The Shirley Bassey "Big Spender" sample comes in nice and sweet, then the beat comes in and knocks you over the head.

3. FM - Dirty Bass
If you're not listening to this track with the bass turnt up on a huge set of speakers then you're doing it wrong, bro. FM takes dirty bass and runs off the cliff with it. Just nasty.

1. Krept, Konan & Yungen - Go Down South
All the punchlines on this track are dope! Krept & Konan kill their bars, plus beat is tight and well structured with a dope bassline to keep it all together.

2. LoveRance - Up (Beat The P#ssy Up) - J. Espinosa Doin' It Remix
I gotta say this remix is TIIIIIGHT!! Such a nice vibe that compliments the original track - well-produced and just plain nice. NOT mad at this.

3. Sneakbo - Oliver Twist - DJ Satoru 101-125 Transition
One of my own edits of a big track right now. Keeping it simple and short with a nice 8-bar transition up from those awkward BPMs to keep the party going.
1. Nari & Milani - Atom
The beat is†a key point and I like the bridge suddenly coming up from 3:10 as well.†At first, I wasn't sure if this song would fit in open-format clubs†but lots of house DJs play it.†I don't care what†audiences feel in the club, I play it anyway.

2. Sander Van Doorn - Chasin'
Sander Van Doorn is considered to be a pioneer of progressive trance.†His latest release "Nothing Inside" is cool too, but I'm feeling this one better.† A great beat doesn't need vocals.

3. Green Velvet vs Felguk - Flash Jack - Chuckie Mash-Up
This is THE mash-up. It takes Felguk's year-end hit and my favorite track from last year and puts them together. Basically, by using the "Flash" remix, it's over.
